God wants us to know that His eternal-internal-external salvation plan is replete in everything He created. Jehovah made light, the heavens, and its boundary-like firmament; the waters, the earth, the trees, the animals-- and of course humans. But before man was ever a part of the picture, God's love, the excellency, and epitome of His glorious character… the eternal DNA of His personality, was in and on everything! David proudly announced:
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
Psalms 19:1-3
Yet the creation of human beings was his ultimate crowning act. We are the ones that are able to showcase and declare from the inside out that He is God of all and not just some! Isaiah highlighted this perfectly as God's spokesperson of the hour, "...bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him...
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God," Isaiah 43: 6-12. "...that He is love (1John 4:16) and is the "best thing" that could ever happen to us. Wow! Just take a moment to really think about what that really means...
Love was the amniotic sac that enveloped planet Earth and its Eden when time introduced itself. God’s love was the internal and external protection that shielded its inhabitants from any perceived threat. His loving thought-fulness is so tenderly shown when it comes to us.
Think of a baby in the womb of its mother. The fluid-filled amniotic sac has two membranes or layers. The first offers ample cushion for its tiny fragile, active, growing body, while the outside layer attaches the umbilical cord so that mother’s blood and oxygen can enter the sac and provide sustenance. According to science, the amniotic membrane located on the inner side of the placenta possesses “anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and immunological characteristics, as well as anti-angiogenic and pro-apoptotic features… [it]can prevent the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to cancer cells and consequently interfere with tumor angiogenesis, growth, and metastasis." Both layers are a double bubble, a barrier from anything invasive.
Wow! Talk about an intelligent design! We are not a useless afterthought, not a mistake, but designed and alive for one beautiful purpose: to be His holy, living, loving epistles
(2 Corinthians 3:1-3). GOD love us so much that at all costs they did everything to preserve our potential, our purpose...His plan and His promise:
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
But God commended His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners...( His enemies) Christ died for the ungodly (those who hated or wanted nothing to do with Him). Romans 5:8.
Jesus condescended to be the answer to the sin problem. Just like He sought Adam and Eve in their sin to save them...He desires to do the same for you and me. He wants to reprogram our DNA so that sin will not have dominion over us. He wants His incorruptible seed, His pure and sin-free life to be the powerful restorer of the years the locusts have eaten from yours and my physical and spiritual life. He wants to help us once again to fill the whole entire world with His glory: "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory." Isa. 6:1-3.
If angels can make that cry who Christ didn't die for, but live to accomplish filling the world with His love, His glory,... how may you and I help Him? What shall I render unto God for all His benefits...?Psalms 116: 12; What has God done for me, some may ask. David, in Psalms 103, has many answers. There are myriads of ways we may think to repay, but God only wants one response: "...Give me YOUR heart...Obey My ways...(Proverbs 23:26), Let Christ's Love live in and through you...He is "the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27)... He wants you to answer in the humblest sincerity emphatically, "I will take the cup of salvation....and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay [keep all] my vows...in the presence of all His people." Psalms 116: 13. Be His witness. Repent...take time to know him...Love Him...Obey Him...Live for Him... Share Him...
Let us pray: "Lord you have seen my extremely damaged DNA. I have allowed Satan to enter through lack of faith, and disobedience, and have allowed him to corrupt my heart, my character …making me represent you as cold, heartless, and criminal. I am a son or daughter, who perpetuates false glory. I no longer want to be possessed by rebellion but by your love. I want the whole earth to be full of your glory and let it begin internally. As I continue to grow spiritually and intellectually, by internal faith and love, may my outward image also witness with that of every atom, every molecule in all of creation: God is love! Thank you for this internal, external, and eternal gospel. I give you permission to reprogram my DNA. Take full control of all 46 chromosomes! Imprint your character, your blueprint on every cell. May I be fully and completely yours. Just like Jesus, I will say according to John 14:30, "...the Prince of this world cometh and hath NOTHING in me" to draw me away from you into even one sin. Amen."
