A Dream in an Almond Tree...

Updated: May 17

Never Stop Dreaming: Positive Encouragements for Mothers, Adults, Youth, Children, Small Businesses, and Ministries.

Our ideas are like little sweet babies sleeping in the comforts of their mother's or father's arms. They are cute and dormant for a while until they grow into beautiful big dreams filled with potential... waiting for the right opportunities to be showcased as fruitful realities.

Narda Pella LLC, & Healthy Lifestyle Ministries was inspired by a childhood dream but became a reality because of three extraordinary people in my life.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a famous doctor who owned her practice on a breathtaking chip of gorgeous paradise.  I was fearless when it came to taking care of stray cats, injured dogs, and a sick Daddy with a nasty cold.  I loved it! My heart was always compassionate towards the less fortunate and I longed to make my dreams a reality.

Reality took a twist of change for me several times throughout my teenage and young adult years.  I studied psychology instead of medicine.  I wanted to delve into the minds of broken people.  I had a daughter during this time and she was born with a severe case of asthma.  I was told she would be on albuterol and a ventilation machine practically as a lifestyle her entire existence.  I had seen other family members and acquaintances struggle with this illness and many of them were dependent upon machines and steroids. I could not imagine myself and my child under such stress and told God that there has to be another way or take her life!

Fear or Faith, it didn’t matter then, but I was serious.  God pointed me to natural remedies.

I changed our diet to that of a vegetarian and then in 1999, we became total vegetarians ( no dairy included). I became a health reformer because of my daughter, but I was inspired to be a medical missionary because of another person, my mom.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

My mother became gravely ill with cancer in 2002.  She underwent chemotherapy, and surgery cutting out most of her small intestines. Her leg was amputated, and this loss...

a permanent change to her way of living, so sudden, and so drastic must have greatly impacted her human dignity, her womanhood, and perhaps her will to fight... to live.

I was the child who had a flexible schedule to take care of her when the nurse aide left for the day.  It was heartbreaking to see my fiercely independent and feisty mom in this condition. The cancer metastasized throughout her body and brain.  She died within the year.  Conventional medicine was not the solution.

My daughter’s life improved drastically. She defied all odds and never took albuterol nor was she ever hooked up to any machine. She never had another asthma attack during her childhood, or her adult years.  Her lifestyle made a difference, and it made a difference for many cancer patients too.

After my mother's death, I  was inspired to be a medical missionary. I was zealous to be an impetus for change.    I was introduced to several medical missionaries who were doctors, nurses, and naturopaths who influenced me to think outside the box of conventional medicine.  I have always been fascinated with the human body, but they introduced me to an amazing secret that catapulted my mind feverishly into new horizons. They introduced me to G.O.D.S. P.L.A.N for a N.E.W.S.T.A.R.T, an amazing lifestyle program that addressed the health of the body, mind, and soul!

I relocated to Georgia to enroll in a medical missionary course, and to provide my daughter with a country environment that would promote and nurture a lifestyle change.  The idea of having a home-based sanitarium, a healthy lifestyle and education spa, filled with customizable options for every need budded in New York, blossomed in Georgia, bloomed in St. Lucia, West Indies, and was blessed with God's supreme approval in Georgia.

I had no rich uncle or dad to bankroll my dream, but I believed that if God wills it...and I follow His will...I could always bill my expenses to Him. He will be faithful to pay them. After all, this "dream" was first His...before it became mine.

These are the simple words that catapulted my faith into action, and I hope you will hear God's voice encouraging you to fulfill His purpose for you too!

Moreover the word of the  Lord came unto me,

saying,[Narda], what seest thou?

And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen:

for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Jeremiah 1: 11,12

I started establishing Narda Pella on the foundation of "Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it."

Faith in God and His word is the biggest catalyst for Narda Pella being a growing reality. I started with determined faith, a website, and a devotional blog. God gave me a base from which to springboard the ministry and business. He gave the clients from unexpected places to help grow it ...and He is still building my faith and bankrolling it as well.

Today, God is blessing our little and turning it into much! Narda Pella is God's "Anointed Refuge", a safe place for both SDA and Non-SDA Youth and Adults who are searching for a purpose to live, and to be healed from broken experiences. We are a balm providing mental health and physical relief for those who are burnt out or struggling to survive in their professional careers, like teachers, administrators, doctors, nurses, and corporate leaders.

As an "educational spa," we offer workshops, lectures, enrichment programs, tutoring, reading comprehension sessions, cooking classes, health fairs, Bible studies, and more to help positively impact our communities (churches, homes, schools) from needlessly succumbing to lifestyle diseases like heart disease, hypertension/ high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, mental health and more.

We believe the mind and body strongly sympathize with each other, and special care is needed for both to perform optimally. When both are being properly nurtured, our spiritual side will inevitably become more intelligent in hearing the voice of our Creator in learning... not only ways to be made healthy or happy... but to be whole again... to be "born again"... to have a spiritual transformation that helps "You" to live a more consistently, committed, Christian life.

"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:

the night cometh, when no man can work." John 9:4

My mother may not be alive today, but her impact is eternal. In gratitude, I have dedicated my life to prayerfully carrying forward her legacy of selfless service in bringing vibrant hope to children who struggle in their educational pursuits. Her unspoken experiences have helped to create a welcoming haven for the hungry, the broken, the anxious, the lonely, the mentally tired, the purposeless, the hopeless, and the spiritually lost. Her goal-getting attitude has encouraged me to be a Natural Health Advocate for the Prevention and Cure for people battling cancer and other lifestyle diseases.

Please continue to follow Narda Pella's journey on our various platforms and help us fulfill our Dream in An Almond Tree... Pray for me and the team that God is bringing together by faith and that we will continue to dream big! Pray that we may continue to follow wherever God leads as time rapidly diminishes and many souls need to be saved.

Are you having a difficult time in your personal or business experience? Are you a young person or adult who is wondering why you even exist? Are you "failing at everything you are doing? Is your faith suffering? Never stop dreaming! Pray and ask God to give you His dream for you and watch Him help you fulfill each and every one of them.

"Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"

Philippians 1:6
